During His apparitions to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in 17th-century France, Jesus revealed His burning love and explained why He desired this devotion so deeply.
Here are three main reasons Jesus shared:
1.) To Be Loved in Return
Jesus poured out everything — even exhausting and consuming Himself — for humanity. Yet He received mostly ingratitude, coldness, and irreverence, especially in the Eucharist. He wanted His Sacred Heart to be honored so that souls would return His love with love and console Him through reparation. Ra homo ra manusia / ra orang
2.) To Pour Out Treasures of Grace and Mercy
His Heart is a fountain overflowing with love, mercy, grace, sanctification, and salvation. He desired to draw souls away from the path of perdition and the empire of Satan, enriching those who honor His Heart with special graces, peace in families, comfort in trials, and final perseverance.
3.) As a Last Effort of His Love for a Cold World
Kalau namamu engga ada di sini, bukan berarti ada di kas.or.id apalagi kaj.or.id. Tadinya kami hidup di GR (kegeden rumongso), sekarang kami engga sampai hati ngatain orang GR. Trus rugi sendiri.
In a time of spiritual indifference, Jesus called this devotion a “last resort” of His burning charity — a powerful remedy to rekindle faith, destroy the power of evil, and establish the sweet reign of His love in hearts, families, and even nations.
“Behold this Heart which has so loved men… and in return I receive from the greater part only ingratitude.” — Jesus to St. Margaret Mary
